After much research and having compared many products , I decided to buy this rice cooker.
Initially when we ordered this product – one standard accessory ( cooking plate/ trivet ) was missing , I had to call the amazon call center and then go for a replacement. Make sure your product has all the standard accessories when you unpack this .
This comes with
1. Aluminum rice bowl
2. Acrylic steamer for veg , momo’s etc.
3. Idli moulds – for mini idli and standard size idli
4. 1 plastic spatula and measuring cup
5. Trivet ( cooking plate with tiny holes )
The only flip side of this product is that the cooker should have come with a glass lid , here it comes with a stainless steel lid, cannot see through. Also it would have been better to provide an Aluminum steamer container instead of acrylic . Over time Acrylic looses its luster and Aluminum is any day preferred.
This product can easily cook rice for a family for 4 to 5 people daily.
Has a 6 amp power chord so that’s convenient and uses about 650 W power.
If this product works for at least 3 years , It will be good – lets see !

It broke within 1.5 years of decent use. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone. I trusted the brand but it gave up. I am not buying any Panasonic product again!

Pro: comes with steaming basket, divider, veggie steaming basket, idli maker stand. So all in all nice package. Rice cooks very nicely in it and even can be warmed well afterwards. Size is also ideal for a family of 4-5.
Cons : Idly maker is not very useful as it is very shallow.

This very good for idli making as well as other kinds of steam cooking. It cooks well and uniformly. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

Ease of cooking and cleaning, effective rice cooking specially when you are going out for a short time and by the time you come u get hot cooked food.

We were used to a digital rice cooker made by Aroma while in the USA and decided to buy this one for convenience sake.
We bought this package online on Amazon and it was delivered on the given date, well packaged with a separate box for each utensil and a user manual and recipe leaflet for each utensil.
Pros:
– The cooker cooks rice really well
– Cooks pulav really well. But I fried/ cooked all veggies seperately and then
– Plastic rice spoon provided is really good to serve rice
– Tried the idli maker and it makes good idlis
– The top plate of idli stand has smaller idli sections than the remaining plates. I made small idlis and my son loved them!
Cons:
– Not the greatest rice cooker quality wise
– The main cooker pan is NOT non-stick. We have to place a plate at the bottom before pouring in rice and water
– For a family of two, cooker is a lot bigger than I though it will be!
– Idli plates and stand are not of great quality. I should have bought a good idli plate stand separately
– No auto timer to start cooking at a specified time
– No indicator of how much time is left to complete cooking
– No beep or any other loud indication that cooking is completed. Only the knob shifts from ‘cooking’ mode to ‘stay warm’ mode and that makes a slight sound

I am using it for more than two months for cooking rice daily twice. No complaints till now
