Good product. Like all other electric rice cooker you have to protect it from water going inside the heater. Cooking time approx 30 mins. Easy to use but it should be handled with care.

I bought this product from outside and is using it for last 1.5 years, almost daily. It is boon for a bachelor or a small family of 2-3 members. Cooking rice is very easy with this. I also use it for steaming vegetables, reheating food etc.. 🙂
Bought it again for my brother.
Cons:
Cleaning the interior part and the lid of the cooker is difficult.
There is no on/off switch. It goes to warm after cooking.
Auto off is not there.

I wanted to buy one even smaller size say 800gms cooker of same type but is not available in prestige

We can cook almost 4 cup rice or any rice items or do maggi type foods Or boil eggs or corns etc…
Problems is while cooking rice the hot boiling water comes out of the vent. If we put less water the bottom layer rice always sticks with the vessel. Otherwise quality is good.
To avoid rice sticking to vessel switch off the cooker some what before or when the boiling sound stops.

I hv been using rice cooker since 10 yrs and i always valued its easiness to cook rice but this time i was bit disappointed. I received my rpoduct in 1 pieve without any dent but there is a gap between while lid is closed(look the pic attached) so i think it will need more time and water to cook rice as pressure wont be same as closed lid.
I am not planning to return it as i really beed it. Mine is 1.2L version whoch i felt is small for the price i paid.

The pot is so thin rice gets burnt , not stick got peeled, food does not keep warm even for an hour, water also slip out while cooking, where from can I get new pot
