The use of the egg holder is to keep the eggs covered and safe. What if the lid cannot close. The eggs doesn’t fit inside. The shape should be outward from inside. This is inward which makes no sense for an egg to keep. Who designed this.

It is a very compact egg storage for small family to store upto 18 eggs. The plastic is not of the best quality but serves the purpose well. I did not have any issues except once when there was a bigger egg variety I bought. It wont be able to close as the eggs might break. The lid could have had a fully concave shape and this issue could have been avoided. The tip of grid on the lid has a small convex shape by design which causes the issue.
