Bought this Glen Chimney on 8/4/2023 @ 8490 plus 600 installation charges plus duct pipe as per requirement extra.
The Motor started making some noise and after technician visit was told 1800 for full cleaning.
Suction Power is also not adequate as per Indian Kitchen Requirements.
Since the cost price is less the maintenance is very high.
Better buy high end model & brand with less cleaning or maintenance charges.
The above is for all future buyers, think twice before you buy this Glen Chimney.

The item was ordered on 16/5/2019 and item received on 19/5/2019.But the item installation guy came today for installation.He informed me the charge for installation is Rs750/- and ducting as 1500/- ,I told him that Amazon showed that installation as Rs 600/- and ducting Rs 1200/- he denied it .As I had no other option I told him to install it.He drilled 2 holes and fitted it,but he could not fit the back cover as the length of the cover was obstructed by the beam in my kitchen.He told me that the length of the back cover has to be cut and for that it will be charged seperately.When I objected he spoke to his senior on phone ,and his senior said that the atandard installation charge is Rs 500/- (earlier was told 750/-)and ducting charge was 1500/- and for cutting of back cover I will have to pay an extra 450/-Rs. I fail to understand the rate discrepency and is the fitment of back cover pert of installation?Why are they charging extra for cutting of back cover.Please reply for my queries.The charge for standard installation & the charge for ducting charges .
