It’s been few months of using this chimney

Product suppose to come with
installation kit. Like suct pipe, cap, clamp.
But package came without installation kit

After first-hand scan and review of so many brands (Glen, hindware, Faber, sunflam and many more), we finally zero down to Elica which is offering ideal model for mid-size kitchen.
While suction power and noise level are the main features for making decision – this is main dilema, as you increase suction power, noise level goes up as well. You can check out Hindware Chimneys, some of its current models were offered with noise reduction technology, which effectively counter noise level with increased suction. For which you may have to pay extra…
Budget buy recommend for Elica, which offers sufficient suction power and value for money.
Installation was not very smooth as my kitchen was already undergone renovation and some changes were needed to accommodate chimney. Installation guy was good, but seems to have limited experience in suggesting optimum way out to install chimney without impacting or changing existing new wooden structure. Thankful to my carpenter, we could install chimney with min changes to existing woodwork.
The installation kit had adequate exhaust pipe length for me, which may be case to case basis… But if you need longer exhaust pipe, then you may need higher suction power for effective functioning. So consider planning in advance before buying chimney.

The installation service offered by Elica is great. The service executive was efficient with the installation. He was knowledgeable and professional. He gave a demo and instructions for product usage and maintenance. He answered all questions. Extremely happy with the installation experience.

Chimney looks good and works fine. Product has been delivered as confirmed by Amazon and installation has been done as committed by Elica. Happy with the service received from Amazon and Elica.
Not happy with the installation cost. They have collected INR 3200 stating various reasons like it can’t be fitted directly in wall so steel rod to be used and the aluminum pipe provided with the product can’t be fitted in my home, so 5 inch pipe to be used. Even the person came to fit the chimney informed that the quality of the aluminum pipe provided with the installation kit is not good so I should provide INR 1400 extra for the 5 inch pipe. I have given the 6inch pipe to him and he has reduced only 300 rupees from the bill. Totally I ended up in paying INR 3200 for installation. I feel bad that I have been cheated by the installation team.

Good product…… Installation was done with in 4 hours after delivery. Installation service is good. But chimney only I received, there is no installation kit. Only installation kit price2600/- extra pay chesam.
