This washing machine is perfect for normal households. The display is red and not ice blue as mentioned in the description.
We had a 5.5kg capacity LG front load. So will compare this machine with it.
Pros:
1. Quick 15 mins wash whereas LG has quick 30 mins wash. The temperature can be increased to 20 or 40 degrees, and the wash cycle will increase from 15 to 19 and 24 mins. So more control to clean faster in quick wash.
2. 7kg capacity will help not to overload it. Because 5.5 was just enough for us. The machine will clean better if it is not fully loaded. Beneficial for both the machine and the clothes. LGs drum was bend because of overloading (after almost 10 years)
3. This has 1200 rpm spin. So the clothes will have lesser moisture compared to 800rpm in LG. Note that quick 15 allows only 800rpm. Daily wash mode support 1200rpm.
4. It has spin and dry mode. So we can hand wash delicate clothes and dry them. LG has only rinse and spin mode. So it wastes one cycle of water for this purpose. Samsung supports both modes.
5. Clothes come out fresher with nice scent of fabric softener. I guess it washes clothes better than previous one.
Now where LG wins is.
1. LG has 180 degree wide opening door. Samsung door opens only like 135 degree as seen in the picture. It’s a problem only if the machine is placed in a cramped space.
Coming to the features of Samsung machine:
It has soak mode, intensive wash, pre wash for cleaning stubborn dirt. Use any of them or a combination of these. Temperature default to a max of 60 for all modes. But we can change it to 90 if required.
Drum clean mode is to be used once every 40 washes to clean the drum. Just run the program with no soap and clothes. Cleaning powder can be purchased from Samsung technicians or online if you have hard water. There is a notification to remind you to run drum clean, although I haven’t seen that yet.
There is a rat mesh installed under the machine to protect it.
Overall I think this one is better compared to next Samsung model with WiFi which costs 3000 more. Almost all of us will use only a few wash modes and this one suits the bill.
Update – 3/10/23
I’ve found an issue with the machine. Since it is 7kg, it’s drum is bigger both in diameter and depth. When we use one heavy dress, or a single heavy bedsheet to wash, the machine tries to place it around the drum during spin cycle. But the drum is so big that it cannot be placed evenly. This causes the machine to wobble heavily during spin cycles. The machine stops immediately and tries again and again. Some time it will stop after multiple attempts and we get clothes which are not dried. I’m not sure, but this issue could be there in all bigger machines. The solution is to wash heavy clothes and lighter clothes separately. It takes some time to get used to this.
5.5kg machine was so small that it can wash even a single dress quite comfortably.

I had a positive experience with your Samsung washing machine overall, with some minor issues to note. The pros include good wash quality, low noise, convenience in drying certain types of fabrics, fast installation, a stylish appearance, reasonable price and satisfaction ratios, decent build quality, compact size, a variety of useful options, and lower water consumption.
As for the cons, the hose pipe length was short and may require purchasing a longer hose if necessary.
Overall, I would recommend this product so far. Will update the review later if I find any issues.

Bought this front loading washing machine after using back to back two top load washers for more than 15 years. It is worth spending the extra amount for a quieter and cleaner work and hopefully longer life of the machine

It works well. Came in perfect condition. Has features to silent notifications, delay cycle, lock buttons, pre-wash, display time, 15 minute quick wash cycle and add-on soaking or pre-wash if required. I was able to choose the date of delivery on Amazon during purchase. Installation was completed on the same day as delivery. No extra hidden charge from any of the representatives.
